Welcome to Kindergarten here at Plato Academy in Palm Harbor! We are very excited to have you as a part of our school family. We have worked together for several years and were the original Kindergarten teachers when Plato Academy Palm Harbor first opened their doors back in 2010. We enjoy teaching together and are also best friends. Below you can find out some more information about us. We look forward to working with you and your child! |
Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Mrs. Jennifer Vasser. I graduated in 2005 with my degree in Elementary Education. I have taught in a variety of classroom settings and I enjoy working with children to help them reach their fullest potential. Kindergarten is an exciting year for children. It is a year of many firsts, and I am looking forward to sharing in the joys that your child will experience throughout the school year. As a teacher, I strive to live by a quote I once read from John Lubbock. He once said, “If we succeed in giving the love of learning, the learning itself is sure to follow.” Your child’s success is very important to me, and as such, I enjoy helping children become responsible learners as well as teaching children how to practice good character. My thanks to you for all you will do to help make this year special in the life of your child. |
Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Mrs. Melissa Whiddon. I was born and raised in Indiana where I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. This will be my eleventh year teaching Kindergarten at Plato Academy Palm Harbor. As your child’s teacher, it is my objective for your student to have a successful, productive, and engaging school year! Children learn in a variety of ways. My goal is to open the pathways for your child to grow and learn successfully at their own pace. By creating a safe and fun environment, your child will be able to explore and discover new ideas in my classroom. I am thrilled that I am able to continue teaching Kindergarten which is dear to my heart. |
